NARS Sweet Revenge lip gloss give me the perfect pout for spring!

My Lightweight J Brand skinnies, excellent for the weather change and totally doable for an everyday summer denim. Paired w my flats an oversized tee and im golden.

My cheapie sunnies from UO. I love having huge plastic shades for sitting pool-side.... Which is only in due time!

There are so many aspects to Trovata that i fancy, but i will save you the time and grace and list my top three..

#1. I love the fact that it was started by friends in a college dorm room. Me and my best had a jewelry line that we started from our room at our sorority house back in college, i can much relate.

#2. Each season's collection is based off a fictional story. When you buy a piece from their collection you also receive a special pendant of some sort and the part of the story that is behind it. The more pieces you purchase, the more parts of the story you receive. Its quite amusing and entertainingly brilliant.

#3. They are able to create an east coast look and mesh it with west coast vibes effortlessly. I will admit i become quite smitten when those two looks become combined into one collective masterpiece.

And last but not least i want to give a big thanks and much love to Electric Feel who has presented to me the "Fierce Blog Award." I am speechless!

I am passing the award onto the fabulous.....

I recently switched my whole skin care regimen to Nars {thanks to my friend Sarah for the inspiration}. It was probably one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. I totally recommend trying it out, its the worth the money. If anything, get their Nourishing Eye Cream, its the mot fabulous thing since sliced bread.

I will first and foremost always be a Leighton fan over Blake, mostly due to the fact that i have always loved Blair Waldorf way more than Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl. But i cant deny the fact that Blake looks Gorgeous in her cover shoot for W Magazine. I'm not a fan of the pic they chose as the actual cover, but i most definitely am a fan of the ring she is wearing in the third pic. :)

So it completely hit me today that Mary-Kate and Ashley's new coffee table book "Influence" comes out in 10 days! Im super stoked as they have been idols of mine from as far back as i can remember. And all you New Yorkers are are the luckiest yet as the two will be at Barnes and Noble to do a book signing the day of its release. The book consists of artists, seasoned designers, and others that have made an impact on their lives. I've already pre-ordered my copy! Since today is "blog action day" and the cause is Poverty, i've decided to share with you a small thing i do to help others who are not as fortunate as us. Instead of bringing my old threads to a second hand store such as "Platos Closet" or "ATC" where they give you the tiniest fraction of the cost you actually spent on your clothes, i bring them to Catholic Charities. Catholic Charities is the largest private network of social service organizations in the US that supports families, reduces poverty, and helps build communities. They take EVERYTHING! clothes, shoes, food, you name it and they will take it and turn it around to others who NEED these items. I feel way better about myself leaving knowing i am making a difference in my community! Try it out! i know you will feel the same sense of appreciation for what you have as i do when i leave.
